The artifact I created is a page from an old issue of The Islander, the free weekly in Ralston according to The Ralston Snow-Blower Collective. Personally, I’ve found old newspapers and articles in my house and I think it’s really interesting to take a look at what was
important in that moment in time. The community had to start off somewhere, and I think that an old issue of The Islander would be interesting for those currently involved in the community to see a little piece of history specific to Ralston. I enjoyed reading “The Ralston Snow-Blower Collective” and thought it would be interesting to incorporate that information into my artifact.
