I think that if I was in the Ralston community I would encounter this campaign button because from the story it seems that Kelly running for the school board effected the whole community. I got the sense that after he went to Sullivan about his missing dog, that he was a lead candidate for the position. I know that in my town when people run for positions like this they hand out flyers and buttons to try and grab people’s attention and win their approval.
